Hello! I'm Kayla Rivera, a recent Millersville University graduate with a unique journey into the world of design. My path initially led me to nursing, where I dedicated myself to caring for others during some of the most challenging times. However, the toll that the COVID-19 pandemic took on both myself and the healthcare system led me to reassess my career path. Recognizing the importance of self-care and finding a creative outlet, I transitioned into graphic design. As I photographed the impact covid had on the world while also designing team t-shirts to unite a struggling group of health care professionals, I realized that I could make this into a career. I love creating and helping others in the process is my favorite bonus. My passion for photography is often seen in my work, and I hope to continue combining the two.
